I would like to project this for the consideration of Railway Minister.
[1] The Vaigai Super Fast should be extended beyond Madurai up to Tirunelveli [TEN]. Suitable advancement in departure at Chennai Egmore will enable arrival at TEN comfortable in night. This may be called as 'VAIGAI-PORUNAI EXPRESS'. [Down south is not having SF day express.]
[2] Similarly Pallavan may be extended beyond Trichy to run up to Madurai. This may be called as KOLLIDAM-VAIGAI EXPRESS
[3] Separate pairs of trains need to be assigned for the train slots.
[4] A circular train Chennai Egmore-Coimbatore-Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore [chord Line] & reverse direction Chennai Egmore-Nagercoi (Chord Line) -Coimbatore- Chennai Egmore.
[5] The Chennai-Shencottai train with power is left idle for more than 10 hrs at Shencottai station after termination of journey at Shencottai. Once the Tenkasi-Tirunelveli BG conversion is completed it may be operated un to TEN and from TEN it may be operated as NELLAI. Similarly NELLAI may be extended to Shencottai and from there it may run as POTHIGAI.
