Tirunelveli Saiva Pillai community is a pious and non arrogant caste; fears for evils and frightened for doing wrong things. They are naturally good people. They have never been described as fierce warriors. But by the same time the community is stern in its ideology, norms,values and culture. Since they are the decedent of their agrarian forefathers, there prevailed a dull or sluggishness in their daily activity. By that I mean to say they are contenders with what they are provided with. They never long for more; no jealousy. This traits prevent them to form forum to fight for the plight of the community. They are considered to be better than Bramins.[They are equally shrewd and intelligent.] The saiva invasion or otherwise the cult which nullify is bramanical saiva worship. Disband saiva worship and follow Samanam.{The Jainism}or keep religion secondary in (Saiva) Pillai life. But this is an ardent effort. I am sure if Science and Technology and other form of arts invade the community Pillai community will prosper. Bring all the think tank in Pillai community together. Do not float PARTY; float ideas and help Pillai community engage in other activities vigrously - other than agrarian based jobs. En light them or engage them to the path of Industry / trade / commerce /technology etc. Reorient Pillai in newer platform.
