Eighth March is celebrated as "Inter nations Woman Day". I am thinking of liberty that woman is enjoying in these days. If to be loyal still woman lack emancipation. This is mainly because Nature [God] has created woman to bear child in her womb. If child birth is also assigned to man then perhaps the emancipation would have been different.
Fundamentally both man & woman are same in nature. However nature has given her extra caution to "protect" herself from any onslaught. This onslaught is mainly in the form of sex. Sexual assault on woman makes her weak because of fear of pregnancy. Societal laws are enacted based on that.
Moreover the descendantcy of male or female falls on "Father" strong society often encourage within the race marriage to avoid any conflict . During monarchical period King's dynasty played a role. They preferred royal ladies for proliferation of their dynasty. Even in joint families so much importance is attached to family caste title and women are considered as prospects [Mahalakshmi] of title caste.
But in a nuclear world today the olden clout has lesser meaning. Wide spread choice enable male or female to choose her life partner. The sense of security for woman is gained by her earning capacity. However the chance of a lady being fallen as a prey to unexpected sexual assault is high even today. Clear emancipation of woman or I can say, absolute emancipation of woman may not be realised until Nature [God} gives a balance in child bearing among the gender.
