Tirunelveli MP constituency election manifesto




The solution that people in Tirunelveli constituency are expecting to get solved are:


[1] Linking of Papanasam Dam with Manimuthar Dam through tunneling. This will help to irrigate few thousand ayicuts in Ambasamudram, Cheranmahadevi and Mukkudal area.

[2] A road link between Ambasamudram and Thiruvananthapuram through Papanasam, Karaiyar. A clear cut permission from Central Government Forest Department for laying road through the much questioned Kalakad-Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve [KMTR] (Further, the UN has also declared these Reserve Forest area as one of the Global Bio Reserves. However I am firm that ecology will NOT be disturbed by laying road connectivity.

[3]Food subsidiary must be extended to farmers too. In India enginerring industries are catering nominal foods to its employees through Government subsidry. They same must be extended to farmers to. Cooked food at nominal cost must have to be made available at all Sathunavu Koodam to cater the food needs of the village agrarian labour force.MP must come forward to allot money from fund for this food subsidiary.

[4] Foreign Direct Investments must be wooed by the elected representative to bring (a)Automobile industry (b)Mobile phone units (c)Ancillary units for major organisations like DAE, KAPP, Kattaboman Naval base. similarly with CII help industrialist must have to be invited to invest in this area.

[5] Conduct of budget marriages for various community young couples in these constituency and construction of Kalyana mandabam (or Community Hall) in villages to facilitate the conduct of community functions including marriages at nominal cost.

[6] Plying of Trailer buses during peak hours in mofusil routes too for rapid mass transportation.

[7] Pressuring GOI for legislating an ordinance for imposing the mother tongue as the medium of instruction in primary schools for all subjects. Only English subject will be taught up to primary level. Then only the Tamil language (Mother tongue) will be saved.
